As we are witnessing the fourth industrial and the digital revolution that will transform our lives, Information Systems and their applications are at the heart of this revolution. The Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems at IUK prepares the graduates to be professionals in the Information Systems area. Students will be involved in the identification, development, and maintenance of different information systems. The program provides several competencies and skills in developing software, applications, mobile and web applications, databases, and data networks. In addition, the program provides the students with a solid understanding of business environments. The curriculum includes courses related to the functional areas of the organization, knowledge about their strategic and operational needs, as well as how to be competent in bringing the power of information systems and technology to support these needs. The IS professional views issues, through a global perspective, that encompasses the entire organization and the broader industry and business environment in which it operates.
The mission of the Information Systems program at IUK is to offer high-quality education that meets the latest advancement in the IS domain, based on internationally recognized accreditation standards. The Information Systems provide the local and regional market competent professionals who can implement IT solutions and technologies in different business environments; equip graduates with lifelong learning skills and research.
